We use 12lb solid block ice (not compressed) in our shaved ice every day. And Block Ice is not easy to come by in Austin, or in central Texas in general for that matter. So it only made sense to make our own. This way we could control the quality. We ultra-purify our water with an advanced 4 stage filtration system finished with a radial carbon filter to remove all impurities and produce the only the cleanest tasting, most consistent ice for our shaved ice needs.
