Our Story

Since August 2023, Fairy Freeze has sought to be a place for the community to gather and share a special treat with a special someone. We strive to provide the softest shaved ice, whimsical toppings and a little bit of magic to children and adults alike. We take joy in the look on a persons face when they take that first bite of that super fine ice and a perfect amount of sweet syrup.

Fairy Freeze is a proudly family owned and operated shaved ice stand specializing in New Orleans style snoballs. Planned around the family dinner table, and put together in the front yard at our house here in NW Austin, we are truly family driven.

We believe that families providing value to families and a place to come together over a special treat is a great way to further build and strengthen our already beautiful and thriving local community. We believe that neighbors supporting neighbor’s small businesses is the only way to keep our community healthy, and we believe that connecting with the families in our local community, through our shaved ice and the wonderful smiling conversations that they facilitate, is a great way to build a strong and vibrant sense of local culture and understanding.

We believe that with a little bit of imagination, and a hopeful wishful attitude we can truly change the world. Fairy Freeze is nothing short of one small family’s wish for world peace, rendered into the physical through shaved ice and a smile.
